Ephrem Teshale (PhD)

Ephrem holds a PhD in ICT and a MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy, along with a BSc in Electrical Engineering. He is a recognized expert with an in-depth understanding of the Ethiopian telecommunication industry.

For the past five years, Ephrem served as the CTO of Zergaw Cloud, a leading Cloud Service Provider in Ethiopia. In this role, he spearheaded the establishment and operation of a modern cloud infrastructure, enabling scalable and secure cloud services for businesses across the country.

Currently, Ephrem leverages his expertise as an Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University, where he instructs courses in Data Communications & Computer Networking and Radio Communications Technologies. He also plays a pivotal role as the instructor and program coordinator for the Telecommunication Engineering MSc program, sponsored by Ethio Telecom.

Ephrem boasts a prolific research background, with over 20 published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference proceedings. His area of specialization lies in Cloud Technologies and wireless systems, encompassing Antenna, Radio Propagation, and Microwave Systems.
